History

A lot has changed since our founding in 1980, but the values that guide WestStar have not. The enduring principles that guide everything we do are what is known as The WestStar Way, and they are more important than they have ever been. The WestStar Way is the embodiment of our values in action, our experience at work, and our continuous pursuit to treat patients with the same care and attention that physicians themselves do.

The WestStar Physical Therapy Network was founded by physical therapists who sought to return to the days when the patient came first. As we built a reputation for hands-on, attentive patient care and successful therapy approaches, it was clear that the original clinics located in Long Beach, City of Industry, Montclair, and Montebello would not adequately serve their respective regions, let alone the rest of the Southern California basin. Over the last two decades, one by one, WestStar has established locations with patient convenience in mind. Today, WestStar serves Southern California through its 100 plus therapy centers and its headquarters in Cypress, California.

 

 

At WestStar, we are focused on one goal: helping the patient get well. We ensure the proper care and treatment of the patients entrusted to us by the physicians and surgeons serving the Southern California area. We strive to be an extension of the physicians themselves, providing the same level of care and attentive treatment that they provide to their patients every day. We work hand-in-hand with physicians to help each patient attain or exceed the level of activity and functionality they had prior to the injury.
